2.       What happen after removing the simcard from the phone?

What’s app will work?

Note: If yes Explain How it work

If app works then its bug, anyone can install what’s app is with phone no and then remove the simcard easily. By using internet connection they may me send or receive the message with that installed number and also they can call in latest updated what’s app version. There is no security right.

3.       Phone number act as a User name?

Note: If yes, there is no security right because what app working fine is even after removed the simcard

It looks like a Security Issue

I am saravana, tested what’s app, its working even after removed the sim card. I can send & receive message and also call to what’s app friend

I brought new sim card, I am not install what’s app in my phone, but it list in what’s app and it shows with different profile image and if message send to that number, It not received in my phone.

Note: If sim card purchased, purchaser is the owner for that particular sim card he or she only responsible for that phone number after that only you can trace by IMEI Number may be!

Conclusion:

In My point of view it’s a security issue

Why it’s an issue?

What’s app It’s not like other app (receiving data from one point).

By what’s app we can share the data from one user to another connected user
